The distributors of Zero For Him, which is a fiber supplement hawked for “clean night-time fun with your partner”, has issued a recall of a single lot of the product. The decision to pull the supplement, says Break Ventures/California Basics in its press release about the recall, was prompted by a positive in-house Salmonella test.
The company adds that follow-up tests revealed no bacterial contamination but that a batch run of Zero For Him is being pulled from the market out of an abundance of caution.
Neither Break Ventures/California Basics nor the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, has received any reports of anyone being sickened by the supplement.
The company did not supply a photo of the recalled Zero For Him we can share with you; this one came from the product’s Amazon sales page:
If you believe you have any of this on hand you’ll want to look for both of these codes:
- #1710-638 (lot code)
- November 2020 (expiration date)
You should return yours to your place of purchase. (You will be given a refund.) Break Ventures/California Basics says Zero For Him was available nationwide through Amazon.
