Nature’s Rx Recalls Drug-Laced Silver Bullet

We are only a month into 2019 and already we’ve seen multiple recalls of drug-laced “male enhancement” supplements. This time it is Nature’s RX that has been caught hawking a spiked “herbal”remedy–and its name is Silver Bullet.

Silver Bullet is puled from store shelves after contamination is found.
Nature’s RX did not include a photo of its recalled Silver Bullet product for us to share with you. This image was taken from a screenshot of the company’s website and matches a product hawked as Silver Bullet 10X on the company’s Ebay page.

In a not entirely coherent press release, Nature’s RX announced the recall of Silver Bullet, acknowledging that both sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, and tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis, were found hidden inside tested samples. The company did not offer any explanation as to how the spiking occurred.

Both sildenafil and tadalafil can be very dangerous to men with certain medical conditions or who are taking certain medications. Nature’s RX claims it has not received any reports of any such interactions.

Nature’s RX offers Silver Bullet in various packages but according to its press release only this product is being recalled:

  • Silver Bullet 10x – 10 capsules – Expiry date 11/2020

Obviously, if you have any of this you are urged not to use it.
